I can not accept and services are not covered by:

  • Apple Heath

  • UHC AARP

  • Pacific Source Medicare

  • Providence or UCARD

  • Medicare: Medicare may show that you have acupuncture benefits for Low Back Pain, but then stipulates that the acupuncture must be performed by an MD or a Nurse Practitioner working under the Physician. Licensed Acupuncturists cannot get a Medicare number. I can not bill Medicare for treatments.

If you aren’t sure, contact your insurance company directly to inquire about your specific plan's benefits.

  • HUMANA GOLD PLUS PLAN - This plan only covers acupuncture for chronic low back pain, as defined by Medicare.

  • HEREYA HEALTH - “self referred” benefits through Kaiser Permanente

  • MODA

  • PACIFIC SOURCE - Regular plans only, NOT medicare plans

  • REGENCE / PREMERA

  • UMR

  • WEB TPA

  • UHC - Regular UHC only

  • VETERANS (VA) - Need prior authorization through VA
